Paulino Cabral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Israel Espírito Santo made a huge save. In the 4th minute of the match Ansião United got a corner. Pelosiro Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulino Cabral ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 8th minute, Ansião United's Laureano Veloso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Israel Espírito Santo. Israel Espírito Santo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Israel Espírito Santo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Cabral in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Graciano Portela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Neto in the 23rd minute of play forced Pelosiro Team's goalkeeper Israel Espírito Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Espírito Santo came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Ansião United's Paulino Cabral. But to his dismay, Paulino Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Pelosiro Team's attentive António Amaro managed to snatch the ball when Aldo Pegado made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Pelosiro Team's Israel Espírito Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Gusmão in the 36th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Ansião United's Januário Viana made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Espírito Santo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Pelosiro Team's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Veloso came free, but Israel Espírito Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Espírito Santo was a little too slow when Paulino Cabral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Israel Neto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ansião United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Israel Espírito Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Neto in the 57th minute of play. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Laureano Veloso sped through Pelosiro Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Israel Espírito Santo. Armindo Menezes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes of play, Ansião United's Januário Viana made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Espírito Santo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Israel Neto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ansião United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Graciano Portela hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, Paulino Cabral threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pelosiro Team's Hermenegildo Vidigal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Veloso in the 89th minute of play forced Pelosiro Team's goalkeeper Israel Espírito Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Espírito Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Januário Viana notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Pelosiro Team's Israel Espírito Santo. Israel Espírito Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ansião United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
