Aldaír Figueiras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 5 played minutes Ultra Ferrolhos CF got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Cardoso. Gusmão Dantas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cássio Prestes. Ultra Ferrolhos CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cássio Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Meira in the 14th minute of play. When Aldaír Figueiras came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the MdasaFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldaír Figueiras couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ultra Ferrolhos CF's Silvano Alves got a free kick in the 17th minute. MdasaFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Frederico Miguéis 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After having played for 25 minutes, Aldaír Figueiras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MdasaFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldaír Figueiras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, MdasaFC's Saúl Santiago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cássio Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldaír Figueiras's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Aldaír Figueiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Prestes having to interfere. Bruno Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saúl Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cássio Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MdasaFC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Miguéis to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Frederico Miguéis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MdasaFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Artur Padilha hit a great ball. Valério Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Miguéis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Saúl Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Ultra Ferrolhos CF's goalkeeper Cássio Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldaír Figueiras. Vítor Tristão hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Cássio Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldaír Figueiras in the 65th minute. Virgílio Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederico Miguéis took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Santana. Valério Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cássio Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldaír Figueiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Bruno Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ultra Ferrolhos CF's zone, Donato Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Prestes came out of the goal and Donato Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ultra Ferrolhos CF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Saúl Santiago scored to the left of an out of position Cássio Prestes, making the score, 2-3. Donato Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MdasaFC played a much better game than Ultra Ferrolhos CF and deserved their victory. The Ultra Ferrolhos CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
