Jairo Mansilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Mansilha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Lages, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Homero Simões in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leif Lönn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jairo Mansilha came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by G.D.Pedorido's Fernando Miguéis. But to his dismay, Fernando Miguéis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Kent Lindkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G.D.Pedorido fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience was convinced that Homero Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leif Lönn was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Jairo Mansilha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Lindkvist's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Jairo Mansilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Lindkvist in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Altares FC's Álvaro Madeira got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Homero Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Leif Lönn made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Miguéis in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Mansilha saved Altares FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Kent Lindkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.D.Pedorido's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Lindkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Mansilha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kent Lindkvist was the one to do the kick off. If Fernando Miguéis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Altares FC's Jairo Mansilha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Miguéis in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, G.D.Pedorido's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Barroso came free, but Leif Lönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Miguéis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Mansilha having to interfere. Fabiano Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Barroso's late challenge caught a G.D.Pedorido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. G.D.Pedorido's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altares FC the free kick. After 78 played minutes G.D.Pedorido got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Lages. Homero Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leif Lönn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Homero Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Miguéis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jairo Mansilha came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Miguéis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 81st minute. 董迪云 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 85 played minutes Altares FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Madeira. 87 minutes into the match, Kent Lindkvist notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Altares FC's Jairo Mansilha. Jairo Mansilha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Kent Lindkvist made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Mansilha. Altares FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. The Altares FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. G.D.Pedorido were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
