In the 15th minute of the match, Lionel-Andrés Lapadula got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raimundo Couto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lionel-Andrés Lapadula scored 4-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SC Desconhecido's zone, Manuel Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Couto came out of the goal and Manuel Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Manuel Teixeira made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo Couto. SC Desconhecido's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Raimundo Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Delfim Matias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Raimundo Couto made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, one of SC Desconhecido:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Desconhecido. Manuel Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Couto having to interfere. Raimundo Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Borba made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Delfim Matias notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of SC Desconhecido's Raimundo Couto. Raimundo Couto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Desconhecido's Raimundo Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Teixeira in the 61st minute of play.
