Vile FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bero Rosser ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Hong Chao Sen to fire away a dangerous shot which Jens Lehmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Noel Vilas Boas in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 21 minutes, Adelino Aires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vile FC and the Clube Atlético do Cadaval players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elias Barroso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Clube Atlético do Cadaval booed when Vile FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vile FC's Jens Lehmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hong Chao Sen in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Zacarias Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens Lehmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Vilas Boas in the 32nd minute of the match. Jens Lehmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Vilas Boas in the 38th minute of play. Vile FC's Elias Barroso got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Clube Atlético do Cadaval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Vilas Boas in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens Lehmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Adriano Fagundes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clube Atlético do Cadaval's Bero Rosser got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Vile FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Aires. When Leal Júdice came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Clube Atlético do Cadaval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leal Júdice couldn't finish the play. Avelino Aires succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. 73 minutes into the match, Vile FC's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Vilas Boas came free, but Jens Lehmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
