In the 12th minute, Zacarias Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio Quintas during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jens Lehmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarcísio Santarém's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcísio Santarém in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens Lehmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vile FC's Jens Lehmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcísio Santarém in the 22nd minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Zacarias Santiago elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 30 minutes SC Agucadeira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Avelino Aires who took care of the corner kick. Matias Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Seixas in the 36th minute of play forced Vile FC's goalkeeper Jens Lehmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jorge Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Agucadeira's protests and gave Jorge Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Tarcísio Santarém who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vile FC's Jens Lehmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diamantino Seixas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Avelino Aires made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcísio Santarém in the 54th minute of play forced Vile FC's goalkeeper Jens Lehmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Avelino Aires came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Vile FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avelino Aires couldn't finish the play. Jens Lehmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Valverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Diamantino Seixas came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jens Lehmann could save by the left post. In the 74th minute Dimas Taveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Lehmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Tarcísio Santarém who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vile FC's Jens Lehmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Vile FC's goalkeeper Jens Lehmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tarcísio Santarém. Tarcísio Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimas Taveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jens Lehmann made a huge save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vile FC fully deserved thier win.
