When Leonardo Pinhal fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hiroku Saikaro Fc's protests and gave Leonardo Pinhal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Galizes booed when Hiroku Saikaro Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Pinhal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Galizes's Olívio Pinhal got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Paulo Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Cavaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeferino Antunes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jairo Cavaco. Galizes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jerónimo Avelar's late challenge caught a Hiroku Saikaro Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerónimo Avelar helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Fraga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Jairo Cavaco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vladislav Orahovac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Avelar in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Paulo Fraga lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Jairo Cavaco. Aristides Hernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Cavaco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Hernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. Raimundo Candal charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Candal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Candal kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 52nd minute, Paulo Fraga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Cavaco was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Leonardo Pinhal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Hiroku Saikaro Fc getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Leonardo Pinhal hit a great ball. Jairo Cavaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Galizes's Jairo Cavaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Fraga in the 67th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulo Fraga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Cavaco was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 72ndth minute of the game Paulo Fraga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galizes's Jairo Cavaco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Galizes's Jairo Cavaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Reddington in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galizes's goalkeeper Jairo Cavaco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graciano Franco during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raymond Reddington ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute of the match Francisco Segio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Cavaco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Hiroku Saikaro Fc were the better team. Hiroku Saikaro Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
