With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olívio Vidigal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olívio Vidigal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Pinhal in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Sport Clube Encarnacense were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sport Clube Encarnacense made a substitution. Diogo Diegues replaced Julião Calado. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Witold Bondel to strike the kick off in the second half. Gai Cacheres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Lisandro Brochado succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sport Clube Encarnacense had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
