Aloísio Perdigão struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Hugo Bulhosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Safira Harammes. Leonel Furtado hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Leonel Furtado's late challenge caught a Safira Harammes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Furtado helped the player get up and apologised. Leonel Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Aloísio Perdigão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloísio Perdigão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Bulhosa having to make a save. After 34 played minutes, Safira Harammes's Anselmo Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Bulhosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Safira Harammes reached it. In the 38th minute, Aloísio Perdigão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Igrejas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Telmo Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match, Dário Igrejas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sérgio Madruga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dário Igrejas had several of the Safira Harammes's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Sérgio Madruga as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sérgio Madruga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Igrejas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Inácio Sobral kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Safira Harammes got a freekick which was hit by João Freire. Cláudio Quintanilha hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Aloísio Perdigão scored 3-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Bulhosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Bulhosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Perdigão in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Safira Harammes getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Telmo Oliveira hit a great ball. Safira Harammes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
