The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Garcia in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leal Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Raminhos in the 24th minute of play. Moises Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Toito's Octávio Ferreira got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Joaquim Raminhos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes FutebolZone got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Raminhos. Lúcio Martins made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Rubinho Capablanca sent off a good shot on target. When Joaquim Raminhos came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FutebolZone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Raminhos couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Raminhos to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Noronha charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Noronha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Toito booed when FutebolZone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FutebolZone defense, Josué Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lúcio Martins. The FutebolZone fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lúcio Martins should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, FutebolZone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Alonso to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, SC Toito's goalkeeper Leal Peseiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gentil Soares. Leal Peseiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moises Alonso's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, FutebolZone's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Klucznik came free, but Lúcio Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Leal Peseiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
