The audience thought a goal was coming when José Guilherme got free with Leal Peseiro in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SC Toito booed when B.Z. F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilídio Severiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Porfírio Perdigão kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, José Guilherme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Capablanca came free, but Paulo Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estevão Ponte came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leal Peseiro could save by the left post. Valério Vides took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leal Peseiro. Leal Peseiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Leal Peseiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valério Vides in the 29th minute. A collision led to SC Toito getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Patrick Wallman hit a great ball. Leal Peseiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Estevão Ponte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Rubinho Capablanca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, SC Toito's goal looked a bit too open when José Guilherme came free, but Leal Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, B.Z. F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Klucznik came free, but Paulo Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Klucznik in the 47th minute of play forced B.Z. F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valério Vides to make the kick off. When B.Z. José Guilherme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leal Peseiro having to interfere. Paulo Teles made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Rubinho Capablanca sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th match minute, SC Toito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Hoancă to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Estevão Ponte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leal Peseiro skillfully saved the ball. Kajetan Klucznik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Teles having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, SC Toito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Perdigão to maneuver through the defense. When Valério Vides came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the B.Z. F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valério Vides couldn't finish the play. Rubinho Capablanca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Teles having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Garcia in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Toito players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for B.Z. F.C..
