None of the them looked very eager to play. 洪烨洲 started the match with the kick off. It was a penalty for B.Z. F.C.! The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Sousa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Teles. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 12th minute, 洪烨洲 made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Teles. B.Z. F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Joaquim Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pedro Maltez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of B.Z. F.C. booed when Coxos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Chagas didn't get a good kick on the ball. B.Z. F.C.'s Estevão Ponte couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Coxos FC. In the 25th minute, Douglas Stallings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Coxos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Vides came free, but Pedro Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Maltez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Vides went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 洪烨洲 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Paulo Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute 洪烨洲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Valério Vides made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Coxos FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ünal Öğüç hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 洪烨洲 in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 洪烨洲 in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Teles saved B.Z. F.C. from getting behind. Paulo Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 洪烨洲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by B.Z. F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Sousa was slow to take the kick. During this time Coxos FC's players had a chance to rest. Estevão Ponte thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Paulo Teles, a very annoying self made goal in the 59th minute which led to 3-1. José Guilherme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Pedro Maltez made a huge save. 洪烨洲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. B.Z. F.C.'s Paulo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 洪烨洲 in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, 洪烨洲 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coxos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 69th minute, Serafim Pinhal collided with one of Coxos FC's players - so bad that he fractured his nose. 洪烨洲 charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 洪烨洲 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 洪烨洲 was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 75th match minute, Coxos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Coxos FC made a substitution. Rui Caiado replaced Donato Chagas. Coxos FC's Aparício Loureiro was substituted for Paulo Sousa. After a rather tough play, Coxos FC's Paulo Sousa got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 84th minute, Estevão Ponte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Coxos FC's Pedro Maltez didn't even have to move. Paulo Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aparício Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Ruas in the 92nd minute of play.
