Korneliusz Dyczkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Santana in the 4th minute of the match. Leopoldo Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Korneliusz Dyczkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 10th minute of play forced Yeroc FC's goalkeeper Korneliusz Dyczkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Jerónimo Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. União Sport Clube Paredes's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerónimo Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korneliusz Dyczkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korneliusz Dyczkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 17th minute of play. Korneliusz Dyczkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerónimo Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerónimo Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korneliusz Dyczkowski having to interfere. União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Yeroc FC's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edwin van der Sar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Korneliusz Dyczkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Quilo in the 33rd minute of play. Edwin van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Funk in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dabi Saens in the 36th minute of play forced Yeroc FC's goalkeeper Korneliusz Dyczkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Yeroc FC's Quintino Salgado was substituted for Lázaro Graça. Yeroc FC's Severino Bettencourt was substituted for Cristiano Baptista. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerónimo Furtado to make the kick off. Jerónimo Furtado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Korneliusz Dyczkowski having to make a save. In the 59th minute Jerónimo Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Dyczkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Patrick Funk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerónimo Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Korneliusz Dyczkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Korneliusz Dyczkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With an all-out effort, União Sport Clube Paredes's Korneliusz Dyczkowski threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jerónimo Furtado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 73rd minute of play. União Sport Clube Paredes's Horia Taşcu was substituted for Mehran Utandıbalayev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 79th minute of play forced Yeroc FC's goalkeeper Korneliusz Dyczkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Jerónimo Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yeroc FC's Korneliusz Dyczkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Korneliusz Dyczkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Quilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute of the match, Roman Quilo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Korneliusz Dyczkowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Korneliusz Dyczkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, União Sport Clube Paredes's goal looked a bit too open when Quintino Salgado came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korneliusz Dyczkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 90th minute of play. União Sport Clube Paredes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
