Spectators: 8140 (Terracing: 6100, Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júlio Veloso kicked off to start the match. After having played for 2 minutes, Sigvard Wahlnäs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BIAMAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigvard Wahlnäs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caio Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Toscano in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match Clube Atlético Valdevez got a corner. BIAMAR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ziemowit Chazon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clube Atlético Valdevez's Ziemowit Chazon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Caio Guerreiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. BIAMAR's Caio Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Primeiro in the 7th minute of play. Caio Guerreiro came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Valdevez's Alonzo Primeiro. But to his dismay, Alonzo Primeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Salvatore in the 11th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Valdevez's goalkeeper Belchior Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caio Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The corner ended in Ziemowit Chazon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BIAMAR's Caio Guerreiro did a great save. When BIAMAR's Sigvard Wahlnäs in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube Atlético Valdevez's goalie prevented a goal. Belchior Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Valdevez's Hermenegildo Pádua got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Alonzo Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sigvard Wahlnäs sped through Clube Atlético Valdevez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Belchior Cortez. 29 minutes into the game, Jairo Estrela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Belchior Cortez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Veloso in the 32nd minute of play forced BIAMAR's goalkeeper Caio Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigvard Wahlnäs's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Belchior Cortez firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 35th minute, BIAMAR's Izydor Robak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Belchior Cortez made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Sigvard Wahlnäs sent off a good shot on target. Alonzo Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Guerreiro having to interfere. The supporters of Clube Atlético Valdevez booed when BIAMAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luijpers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes, Clube Atlético Valdevez's Ziemowit Chazon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caio Guerreiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube Atlético Valdevez reached it. Olavo Gameiro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the BIAMAR defense, Júlio Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio Guerreiro. The BIAMAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio Guerreiro should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Salvatore made a kick off. Caio Guerreiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Veloso in the 59th minute. Hermenegildo Pádua hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Clube Atlético Valdevez's Belchior Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Robak in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Júlio Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Guerreiro made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Éder Toscano sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Júlio Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Éder Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Robak in the 79th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Valdevez's goalkeeper Belchior Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belchior Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Wahlnäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 82 minutes Clube Atlético Valdevez's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olavo Gameiro who took care of the corner kick. When Alonzo Primeiro fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Valdevez's protests and gave Alonzo Primeiro a yellow card for diving instead. 95 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Valdevez's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Wahlnäs came free, but Belchior Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
