Spectators: 9253 (Terracing: 6941, Seating: 2128, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raimundo Ventura kicked off to start the match. Rodolfo Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Mao Zhen Hong made a huge save. Christian Westerstrand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiu Chuan Ran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Faria in the 6th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raimundo Ventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Zhen Hong having to interfere. Qiu Chuan Ran came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Monte Gordo's Christian Westerstrand. But to his dismay, Christian Westerstrand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Westerstrand in the 13th minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Rodolfo Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Academia Monte Gordo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Venedikt Ukraintsev took the corner. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Mafra in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Westerstrand in the 20th minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qiu Chuan Ran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Westerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on Academia Monte Gordo's corner Rodrigo Mafra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qiu Chuan Ran quite easily take care of the ball. Gonzalo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Menelaos Damianos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Academia Monte Gordo's Boruc Brysz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Israel Carvalhal got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Rodrigo Mafra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Qiu Chuan Ran skillfully saved the ball. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Westerstrand in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Academia Monte Gordo getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Adolfo Silva hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Israel Carvalhal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qiu Chuan Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Westerstrand in the 43rd minute of play. The excitement rose when Academia Monte Gordo's Christian Westerstrand after 48 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Westerstrand to make the kick off. Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Ventura in the 52nd minute of play. Arana Ponta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonzalo Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mao Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernard Perathoner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Fabrício Lustosa replaced Christian Westerstrand. Fabrício Lustosa scored 0-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qiu Chuan Ran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran got control of the ball when Fabrício Lustosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Academia Monte Gordo's Fabrício Lustosa made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qiu Chuan Ran was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Lixandro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mao Zhen Hong. Academia Monte Gordo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Lixandro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 86th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Lixandro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mao Zhen Hong. Academia Monte Gordo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Lixandro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.
