Pinhote FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John Beton in the 4th minute. In the 4th match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Rosen to maneuver through the defense. If Osmane Süleymanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 13 minutes of play, Pinhote FC's Sílvio Luís Ceresso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederico Vilalobos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Nascente do Leça's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Ceresso came free, but Frederico Vilalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinhote FC's Imre Hellinger got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frederico Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Hellinger in the 28th minute of the match. Ni Guang Yong came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Nascente do Leça's Cristiano Carrasqueira. But to his dismay, Cristiano Carrasqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Rosen in the 42nd minute of play forced Nascente do Leça's goalkeeper Frederico Vilalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Waldemar Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Nascente do Leça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Serwach to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Sílvio Luís Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Vilalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nascente do Leça's Cristiano Carrasqueira got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 48th match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damião Maia to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Imre Hellinger made a kick off. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Imre Hellinger hit a great ball. Frederico Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Pinhote FC were awarded a corner. John Beton went to the cornerflag to take it. John Beton made a great header on Pinhote FC's corner, it was just that Nascente do Leça's Frederico Vilalobos managed to reach the ball for a save. Frederico Vilalobos made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Sílvio Luís Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. After 63 minutes Nascente do Leça's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was John Beton who took care of the corner kick. In the 64th minute, Damião Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Campelo came free, but Ni Guang Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imre Hellinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Frederico Vilalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imre Hellinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Imre Hellinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Távora kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Imre Hellinger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frederico Vilalobos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Pinhote FC's Waldemar Rosen in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nascente do Leça's goalie prevented a goal. Frederico Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Hellinger in the 89th minute of the match. Frederico Vilalobos made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Sílvio Luís Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. Waldemar Rosen struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Frederico Vilalobos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhote FC. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pinhote FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
