But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Oto couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Jorge Ruas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Vilalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Victorino Oto sped through Nascente do Leça's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frederico Vilalobos. Frederico Vilalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Bruno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nuno Bomba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Andarilhos's Jorge Ruas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frederico Vilalobos. That made the score 0-3 after 52 minutes of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Severiano Campelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andarilhos's Jon Oblak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Bento Madeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Ruas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Vilalobos having to interfere. A collision led to Andarilhos getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Severino Figueira hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Victorino Oto put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Frederico Vilalobos. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cristiano Carrasqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nascente do Leça's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Carrasqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Oblak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jon Oblak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Campelo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Victorino Otos short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Frederico Vilalobos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 76thth minute of the game Severiano Campelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andarilhos's Jon Oblak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Severiano Campelo sped through Andarilhos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jon Oblak. Severiano Campelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jon Oblak having to make a save. Andarilhos's Jon Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Campelo in the 86th minute of play. Frederico Vilalobos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antony Bruno went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Frederico Vilalobos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fu Han Qiang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 92 minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Nascente do Leça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Rangel to maneuver through the defense. The Andarilhos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Andarilhos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
