The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yuften El Kaoutar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Yuften El Kaoutar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Essaouira Kawkab's Ziyad Oulmers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yuften El Kaoutar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ziyad Oulmers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Essaouira Kawkab was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aderbal Ahahaoui to maneuver through the defense. Ziyad Oulmers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izem El Bassel in the 22nd minute of the match. Ziyad Oulmers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuften El Kaoutar in the 31st minute of the match. Hilal Bezzai made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Yousri Azaouagh sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Sisangh Harthan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hilal Bezzai. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 37th minute, Izem El Bassel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilal Bezzai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sisangh Harthan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Hilal Bezzai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sisangh Harthan's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sisangh Harthan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Essaouira Kawkab's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yuften El Kaoutar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Azrou Wafa's Hilal Bezzai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yousri Azaouagh in the 67th minute of play. Izem El Bassel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Azrou Wafa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Azrou Wafa's Yuften El Kaoutar got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chakib El Mouataz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Izem El Bassel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Ashraf Settati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
