The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruby Dunlop helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Bridgwater City's Alexander Llyod tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Shane Peake made a precise shot to the right of Gordon Alsford. Finnish Liberation Army's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Romeo Kemp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bridgwater City's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Kemp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordon Alsford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gordon Alsford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maik Nethercot in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After 53 played minutes Bridgwater City got a freekick which was hit by Caleb Yeo . The supporters of Finnish Liberation Army booed when Bridgwater City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Makem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Harrison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Grigg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maik Nethercot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Alsford having to interfere. Rex Langdon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruby Dunlop struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Thomas Harrison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finnish Liberation Army. Thomas Harrison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Grigg in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 89th minute Rex Langdon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Harrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Bridgwater City's Maik Nethercot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gordon Alsford. Gordon Alsford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Bridgwater City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
