Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jake Garnett took the kick off in the first half of the match. Damon Crowther struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Jon Bull didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northwich. Jake Garnett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jake Garnett received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toby Bryden came out and tried to block the shot, but Jake Garnett slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. In the 19th minute Damon Crowther shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Bull saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calum Rices short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Toby Bryden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Croston's Jon Bull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Downton in the 25th minute of play. Jake Garnett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Toby Bryden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Croston's Jake Garnett dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Croston's Jake Garnett got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Northwich's goalkeeper Toby Bryden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calum Rice. When Dom Eubank fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croston's protests and gave Dom Eubank a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Croston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dom Eubank to maneuver through the defense. Paul Robins, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jon Bull showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex Clapham, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Downton made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Jake Garnett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Northwich's goal looked a bit too open when Jake Garnett came free, but Toby Bryden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Croston's Jon Bull proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Croston from getting a goal against them. Calum Rice struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Toby Bryden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croston. Toby Bryden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jake Garnett's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Toby Bryden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake Garnett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Northwich's Toby Bryden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Garnett in the 83rd minute of play. Martin Downton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Bull having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Freddie Lewington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Croston got a freekick which was hit by Dom Eubank. In the 90th minute of the match, Martin Downton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jon Bull saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Croston. Freddie Lewington stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Toby Bryden. 3-2. Toby Bryden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jake Garnett, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute.
