With an extended leg and a bit of luck Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Salmon in the 20th minute of the match. Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Willie Talbot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Willie Talbot really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Dennis Salmon notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Real Madrid's Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson. Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 minutes of play, Triquetra AFC's Dennis Salmon made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Des Buckley took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sammy Nethercot. Sammy Nethercot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Salmon in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Willie Talbot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zak Shea made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Dennis Salmon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Madrid's Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Salmon in the 74th minute of play. Dennis Salmon scored 4-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Triquetra AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Rich Noble lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Triquetra AFC's Rich Noble got a free kick in the 87th minute. Peter Grantham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Triquetra AFC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Triquetra AFC's Dennis Salmon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Triquetra AFC's Dennis Salmon in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
