Spectators: 8856 (Terracing: 6874, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 182) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vincent Houghton started the match with the kick off. Jamal Atkinson took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamilton Granger. Hamilton Granger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hamilton Granger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamal Atkinson in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Forrest Lambert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hamilton Granger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Forrest Lambert in the 14th minute of play forced BUBASAUR's goalkeeper Hamilton Granger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BUBASAUR's Hamilton Granger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Venables in the 15th minute of play. Hamilton Granger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vance Pennant in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, BUBASAUR's goal looked a bit too open when Ivor Hall came free, but Hamilton Granger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Venables in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamilton Granger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, BUBASAUR's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Venables came free, but Hamilton Granger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Patrick Venables cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hamilton Granger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. BUBASAUR's Hamilton Granger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Forrest Lambert in the 34th minute of play. Bobby Acheson's late challenge caught a Ledbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bobby Acheson helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Ledbury a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jamal Atkinson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BUBASAUR's Hamilton Granger. 0-4. After having played for 43 minutes, Carl Short managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ledbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Short was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamilton Granger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Venables, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Forrest Lambert in the 45th minute of play forced BUBASAUR's goalkeeper Hamilton Granger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamilton Granger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Venables in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Ledbury were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Short to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Vincent Houghton notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Ledbury's Paul Wardle. Paul Wardle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hamilton Granger came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ledbury's Carl Short. But to his dismay, Carl Short quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. A collision led to Ledbury getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Karl Lineker hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Patrick Venables recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hamilton Granger. Patrick Venables showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. In the 75th minute, Patrick Venables hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamilton Granger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Venables in the 78th minute. With an all-out effort, Ledbury's Hamilton Granger threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jamal Atkinson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88th minute, Carl Short ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamilton Granger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. 93 minutes into the match, BUBASAUR's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Venables came free, but Hamilton Granger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Jamal Atkinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamilton Granger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The BUBASAUR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ledbury were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
