Hamilton Granger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Workington's Lance Kennedy got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, BUBASAUR's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Topham came free, but Hamilton Granger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Bradley Topham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamilton Granger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Hamilton Granger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Topham in the 16th minute of play. Hamilton Granger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierce Porter, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, BUBASAUR's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Topham came free, but Hamilton Granger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlton Inman kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Hamilton Granger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Topham in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Haylock in the 23rd minute of play forced BUBASAUR's goalkeeper Hamilton Granger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamilton Granger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Topham in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Carlton Inman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamilton Granger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BUBASAUR's Hamilton Granger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Topham in the 37th minute of play. Hamilton Granger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Topham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamilton Granger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Haylock in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierce Porter in the 46th minute of play forced BUBASAUR's goalkeeper Hamilton Granger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Carlton Inman made the kick off in the second half. If Carlton Inman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Bradley Topham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamilton Granger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BUBASAUR's Hamilton Granger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save BUBASAUR from getting a goal against them. With his leg Hamilton Granger managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Workington's Carlton Inman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 63 minutes into the game, Workington's Pierce Porter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamilton Granger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 66th minute, Matt Stockdale fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hamilton Granger, passed just outside the right post. In the 67th minute, Jim Haylock reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hamilton Granger. The goal made the score 0-5. 69 minutes into the game, Matt Stockdale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Workington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BUBASAUR the free kick. The supporters of BUBASAUR booed when Workington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matt Stockdale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlton Inman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hamilton Granger firmly grabbed it by the left post. BUBASAUR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Carlton Inman scored to the left of an out of position Hamilton Granger, making the score, 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Carlton Inman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Workington's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlton Inman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamilton Granger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to BUBASAUR getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Robin Barkley hit a great ball. Pierce Porter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamilton Granger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Hamilton Granger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Topham in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, BUBASAUR's Hamilton Granger got control of the ball when Carlton Inman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlton Inman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Hamilton Granger made a huge save. Workington's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
