Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sær Magnússon made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Björg Blönduósi's Urdin Gandulla got control of the ball when Arnúlfur Flókason tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freymóður Ævarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urdin Gandulla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolli Kristbjörnsson in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Björg Blönduósi's Yngvar Snorrason got a free kick in the 15th minute. Arnúlfur Flókason was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Norðmann Sighvatsson put in a rough tackle. Urdin Gandulla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sær Magnússon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 28th match minute, Mófell Höfn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigurvin Eilífsson to maneuver through the defense. Dómald Friðbertsson came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Björg Blönduósi's Freymóður Ævarsson. But to his dismay, Freymóður Ævarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sær Magnússon got free with Urdin Gandulla in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Björg Blönduósi's Urdin Gandulla got control of the ball when Bolli Kristbjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mófell Höfn's Dómald Friðbertsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freymóður Ævarsson in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mófell Höfn's zone, Freymóður Ævarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dómald Friðbertsson came out of the goal and Freymóður Ævarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Bolli Kristbjörnsson took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urdin Gandulla. Urdin Gandulla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sær Magnússon in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urdin Gandulla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dómald Friðbertsson made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Hreimur Oddsson sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Björg Blönduósi's goal looked a bit too open when Arnúlfur Flókason came free, but Urdin Gandulla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristmundur Nikulásarson during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Björg Blönduósi got a freekick which was hit by Kristmundur Nikulásarson. Urdin Gandulla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnúlfur Flókason in the 73rd minute of play. Urdin Gandulla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnúlfur Flókason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urdin Gandulla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolli Kristbjörnsson in the 85th minute of the match. Urdin Gandulla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sær Magnússon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Freymóður Ævarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urdin Gandulla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolli Kristbjörnsson in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Bolli Kristbjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urdin Gandulla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Björg Blönduósi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
