Otti Tryggvason who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Eyberg Emilsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Otti Tryggvasons short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Eyberg Emilsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eyberg Emilsson made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Otti Tryggvason sent off a good shot on target. Otti Tryggvason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Eyberg Emilsson made a huge save. Per Axelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Eyberg Emilsson made a huge save. Per Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes of play, Anтicα Cidαdєlα's Otti Tryggvason made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eyberg Emilsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Burkni Styrmisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otti Tryggvason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hallbjörn Þorvaldsson to make the kick off. Eyberg Emilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Axelsson in the 51st minute of play. Otti Tryggvason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eyberg Emilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eyberg Emilsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otti Tryggvason went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Örlagið Garði getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hallbjörn Þorvaldsson hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes, Anтicα Cidαdєlα's Per Axelsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eyberg Emilsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anтicα Cidαdєlα reached it. In the 76th minute Otti Tryggvason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eyberg Emilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Örlagið Garði booed when Anтicα Cidαdєlα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigursteinn Gautsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otti Tryggvason in the 84th minute of play forced Örlagið Garði's goalkeeper Eyberg Emilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anтicα Cidαdєlα's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
