United. F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hjallkár Lárusson helped the player get up and apologised. Hjallkár Lárusson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Reikiavik. United. F.C.'s Kristinn Ingimundarson suffered a sore thigh after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 11 minutes into the game, Bjarnar Fannarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Feiko FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reikiavik. United. F.C. the free kick. Vorm Gabríelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vorm Gabríelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Itzaina in the 16th minute. A collision led to Feiko FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Johan Hænsson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Barri Magnússon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reikiavik. United. F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Barri Magnússon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feiko FC's Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Feiko FC from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Hróaldur Bollason ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elís Oddmarsson in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Feiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elís Oddmarsson came free, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barri Magnússon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Itzaina in the 40th minute of play forced Feiko FC's goalkeeper Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Justino Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Hrafnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Johan Hænsson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Feiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Bjarnar Fannarsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maron Gabríelsson in the 58th minute of play forced Feiko FC's goalkeeper Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örnólfur Hannesson got free with Ferdínand Grímsson in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barri Magnússon took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Feiko FC's Hásteinn Ólason was substituted for Sölvi Dagfinnsson. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Reikiavik. United. F.C.'s Sigurður Reimarsson got a free kick in the 79th minute. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maron Gabríelsson went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hásteinn Ólason during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Reikiavik. United. F.C. booed when Feiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hásteinn Ólason didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Reikiavik. United. F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
