Pogoń Siedlce's Jan Bjarkason played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lýður Benediktsson in the 5th minute of play. Geirtryggur Sveinbjörnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Jan Bjarkason made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Geirtryggur Sveinbjörnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seifur Guðfinnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jan Bjarkason tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borgar Ósvaldsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hringur Hallbjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes, Geirtryggur Sveinbjörnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockets FC and the Pogoń Siedlce players grew even worse after the yellow card. Borgar Ósvaldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hringur Hallbjörnsson in the 27th minute of play. Lýður Benediktsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rockets FC's Lýður Benediktsson in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pogoń Siedlce's goalie prevented a goal. If Lýður Benediktsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes, Ingþór Ormarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockets FC and the Pogoń Siedlce players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rockets FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ingþór Ormarsson hit a great ball. Borgar Ósvaldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rúben Baugsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Pogoń Siedlce's goalkeeper Jan Bjarkason had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geirtryggur Sveinbjörnsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rúben Baugsson in the 36th minute of play forced Rockets FC's goalkeeper Borgar Ósvaldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lýður Benediktsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Bjarkason having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lýður Benediktsson was the one to do the kick off. Hringur Hallbjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eymar Ernirsson in the 56th minute of play forced Rockets FC's goalkeeper Borgar Ósvaldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hringur Hallbjörnsson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borgar Ósvaldsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rockets FC's zone, Hringur Hallbjörnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borgar Ósvaldsson came out of the goal and Hringur Hallbjörnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Borgar Ósvaldsson managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Pogoń Siedlce's Rúben Baugsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ásmar Másson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Pogoń Siedlce got a freekick which was hit by Hringur Hallbjörnsson. In the 77th minute, Rúben Baugsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pogoń Siedlce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jan Bjarkason stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lýður Benediktsson's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. A collision led to Pogoń Siedlce getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Yngvi Óttarsson hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Pogoń Siedlce's Eymar Ernirsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Borgar Ósvaldsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rockets FC's Borgar Ósvaldsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Rockets FC from getting a goal against them. Borgar Ósvaldsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eymar Ernirsson in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eymar Ernirsson in the 89th minute of play forced Rockets FC's goalkeeper Borgar Ósvaldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Rúben Baugsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rockets FC's Borgar Ósvaldsson. Borgar Ósvaldsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geirtryggur Sveinbjörnsson hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Rockets FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pogoń Siedlce were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
