Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bradner Frankson made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Hilltown's goal looked a bit too open when Peyton Dalton came free, but Bean Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donelle Scully kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Bean Horgan was a little too slow when Bradner Frankson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 10 minutes, Biviti Mullan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hilltown and the Mardyke players grew even worse after the yellow card. 9 minutes into the game, one of Hilltown:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 2-0 came through a penalty shot after 12 played minutes, when Mardyke:s Bradner Frankson calmly waited for Hilltown:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Bradner Frankson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Bean Horgan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Peyton Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peyton Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bean Horgan having to interfere. Mardyke's Bebhinn Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derrick Delaney in the 30th minute of play. Bean Horgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bradner Frankson went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Peyton McAlphie's late challenge caught a Mardyke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peyton McAlphie helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hilltown's Peyton McAlphie got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derrick Delaney in the 36th minute of play forced Mardyke's goalkeeper Bebhinn Holt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Ultan McLian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hilltown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ultan McLian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bradner Frankson came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bean Horgan could save by the left post. Peyton McAlphie hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peyton McAlphie to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Bradner Frankson put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bean Horgan. After some careless play in the Hilltown defense, Peyton Dalton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bean Horgan. The Hilltown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bean Horgan should have stopped the shot. If Bradner Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bergin McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bebhinn Holt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bannon McCready. Derrick Delaney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bebhinn Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Hilltown got a freekick which was hit by Donelle Scully. When Joseph McPeter fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mardyke's protests and gave Joseph McPeter a yellow card for diving instead. Joseph McPeter kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hilltown's Tierney Myler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bebhinn Holt. That made the score 5-1 after 78 minutes of play. Mardyke's Bradner Frankson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Peyton McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hilltown's supporters rose to their feet, but Peyton McAlphie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebhinn Holt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute of the match, Tierney Myler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bebhinn Holt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 88 minutes of play, Mardyke's Peyton Dalton made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bean Horgan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mardyke's Bradner Frankson in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hilltown's goalie prevented a goal. Mardyke's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
