Breffni Tracy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cassin in the 15th minute of the match. Roland MaCollin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brennen Ryan in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, one of Doogary Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Doogary Utd. Suibhne McCollion kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Doogary Utd's Kyle Cassin in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garr FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brak Mulvihill in the 26th minute of play forced Garr FC's goalkeeper Breffni Tracy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kyle Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breffni Tracy having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Donegan McJames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Garr FC's Finnigan McMichel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Brak Mulvihill struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Breffni Tracy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doogary Utd. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braoin Hunt during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Braoin Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute Kyle Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breffni Tracy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Finnigan McMichel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Kyle Cassin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Breffni Tracy. That made the score 2-1 in the 51 minute of play. Roland MaCollin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finnigan McMichel in the 55th minute of play. Kyle Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th play minute Brak Mulvihill came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Breffni Tracy. 2-2. The audience was convinced that Brak Mulvihill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Breffni Tracy was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Kyle Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Breffni Tracy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brak Mulvihill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyle Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Breffni Tracy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brak Mulvihill got free with Breffni Tracy in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Kyle Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breffni Tracy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Doogary Utd booed when Garr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donegan McJames didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Garr FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cassin came free, but Breffni Tracy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kyle Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doogary Utd played a much better game than Garr FC and deserved their victory. The Garr FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
