Breffni Tracy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brenainn Lester in the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brenainn Lester in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breffni Tracy saved Garr FC from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, Bangor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baolach Keegan to maneuver through the defense. Finnigan McMichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gerard McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brennen Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard McVictor having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Garr FC's Finnigan McMichel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerard McVictor. That made the score 2-1 after 38 minutes of play. The supporters of Garr FC booed when Bangor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rourke Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Garr FC's Biviti Todd tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brenainn Lester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robin Robinson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Bangor's Brenainn Lester, in the 61st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Bangor. After 63 minutes, Finnigan McMichel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garr FC and the Bangor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Finnigan McMichel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Garr FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Breffni Tracy, was totally fooled by Bangor's Berke Hunt, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Finnigan McMichel struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gerard McVictor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garr FC. 73 minutes into the match, Garr FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brenainn Lester came free, but Breffni Tracy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Garr FC got a freekick which was hit by Tipraite Dunne. When Bangor's Brenainn Lester in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brenainn Lester in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breffni Tracy saved Garr FC from getting behind. Garr FC's Breffni Tracy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenainn Lester in the 101st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bangor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
