Brayden Delaney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duff Costello's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Duff Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Hayes Murphy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tawny AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grangegeeth AFC the free kick. A collision led to Tawny AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hayes Murphy hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Bryan McDecland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tawny AFC booed when Grangegeeth AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gealan Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duff Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Brayden Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After having played for 58 minutes, Teigue Perth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grangegeeth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teigue Perth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enda McFrancise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan McDecland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryan McDecland took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enda McFrancise. Enda McFrancise dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Beamard Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Duff Costello kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brayden Delaney. That made the score 1-4 in the 85 minute of play. Bryan McDecland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Enda McFrancise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grangegeeth AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Donahue McLiam scored to the left of an out of position Brayden Delaney, making the score, 1-5.
