Brayden Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grangegeeth AFC's Brayden Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beary Cronin in the 8th minute of play. Grangegeeth AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burnfort the free kick. The supporters of Burnfort booed when Grangegeeth AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basil McWill didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gearóid Callaghan fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burnfort's protests and gave Gearóid Callaghan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Burnfort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gearóid Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. Blar Gough kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryan McDecland in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bivadas McLian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Caoilte McNamara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian McGlenn struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Brayden Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burnfort. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Caoilte McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnfort's supporters rose to their feet, but Caoilte McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brayden Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Grangegeeth AFC's zone, Brian McGlenn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brayden Delaney came out of the goal and Brian McGlenn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brayden Delaney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian McGlenn in the 80th minute. Brian McGlenn might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brayden Delaney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brian McGlenn ran back to his position shaking his head. If Brian McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pembroke Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
