Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Breas Colwell took the kick off in the first half of the match. Breas Colwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Comhghall McDecland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Donal Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comhghall McDecland having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Breas Colwell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prosperous Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breas Colwell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breas Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Comhghall McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breas Colwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Comhghall McDecland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Kerrigan Harkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gearalt McJames during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Meenymore Utd got a freekick which was hit by Gearalt McJames. In the 29th minute, Donal Benson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Meenymore Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Breas Colwell came free, but Comhghall McDecland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pearse McSteve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerrigan Harkin in the 35th minute of the match. Killian McStephen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pearse McSteve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Meenymore Utd getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Donoghue Rutherford hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kerrigan Harkin to strike the kick off in the second half. Donal Benson might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Comhghall McDecland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donal Benson ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the game, Breas Colwell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Comhghall McDecland. Breas Colwell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Kerrigan Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Killian McStephen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pearse McSteve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Pearse McSteve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerrigan Harkin in the 62nd minute of play. When Meenymore Utd's Kerrigan Harkin in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prosperous Utd's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Meenymore Utd booed when Prosperous Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Briony Mulvihill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donal Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Breas Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comhghall McDecland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Killian McStephen got in the 81st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Pearse McSteve handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Meenymore Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donoghue Rutherford to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donal Benson got free with Comhghall McDecland in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Comhghall McDecland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donal Benson, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Prosperous Utd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
