Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cloncumber's Bradigan Palmer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Art McPhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coileán Dillon having to interfere. Brecc Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Coileán Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Brecc Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perry Ramsey in the 18th minute of play forced Glangristeen's goalkeeper Baydan Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brecc Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coileán Dillon having to interfere. Coileán Dillon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Art McPhil's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Perry Ramsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glangristeen's Art McPhil got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coileán Dillon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art McPhil in the 43rd minute of play. Bradigan Palmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baydan Keegan having to interfere.

In the 51st minute of the match Peadair Savic shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coileán Dillon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bradigan Palmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baydan Keegan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brecc Prunty in the 63rd minute of play forced Cloncumber's goalkeeper Coileán Dillon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes of play, Glangristeen's Art McPhil made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Coileán Dillon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Glangristeen's Art McPhil in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cloncumber's goalie prevented a goal. Brecc Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coileán Dillon having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Art McPhil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Coileán Dillon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Art McPhil in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coileán Dillon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Art McPhil struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Coileán Dillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glangristeen. 85 minutes into the match, Glangristeen's Art McPhil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Coileán Dillon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Coileán Dillon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brecc Prunty's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Brecc Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Glangristeen got a freekick which was hit by Roland McWilliam. Cloncumber's Barcvni McLian couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Glangristeen. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Glangristeen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cloncumber had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
