Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Begley Caffrey kicked off to start the match. Brasil Mulvihill's late challenge caught a Balladian FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brasil Mulvihill helped the player get up and apologised. Harry McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan McPeter having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Binnech Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balladian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binnech Ghee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timothy Mullan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Toren Kirby made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Binnech Ghee in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kerrigan McPeter saved Nicker from getting behind. Nicker's Kerrigan McPeter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry McVictor in the 22nd minute of play. When Kyle McPhilip fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nicker's protests and gave Kyle McPhilip a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nicker! Toren Kirby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Lester in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Barcvni Caffey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerrigan McPeter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Begley Caffrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kerrigan McPeter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barcvni Caffey in the 34th minute of the match. Kerrigan McPeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Begley Caffrey in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nicker's zone, Begley Caffrey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerrigan McPeter came out of the goal and Begley Caffrey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Begley Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan McPeter having to interfere. When Binnech Ghee came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Balladian FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Binnech Ghee couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrew Lester was the one to do the kick off. Keely Cooney's late challenge caught a Nicker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keely Cooney helped the player get up and apologised. Keely Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Balladian FC's Toren Kirby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Lester in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Nicker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brasil Mulvihill to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás McWillie in the 63rd minute of play forced Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beagan Keegan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Balladian FC's Toren Kirby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Lester in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Begley Caffrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerrigan McPeter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Nicker's Kerrigan McPeter got control of the ball when Harry McVictor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Binnech Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás McWillie in the 79th minute of play forced Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nicker's zone, Harry McVictor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerrigan McPeter came out of the goal and Harry McVictor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toren Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás McWillie in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Nicker's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Binnech Ghee fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Binnech Ghee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerrigan McPeter having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Begley Caffrey notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Nicker's Kerrigan McPeter. Kerrigan McPeter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Balladian FC's Keely Cooney got a free kick in the 94th minute. Toren Kirby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Lester in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Balladian FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
