Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joseph McBrand got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fahan's goalkeeper Philip Kelly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kilkea Utd's Branson Colwell got a free kick in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Kilkea Utd's Harrigan Hunt got a free kick in the 8th minute. Branson Colwell kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Gearalt McAlphie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph McBrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Branson Colwell charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Branson Colwell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Kilkea Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branson Colwell to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Bernard McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bracken Mulvihill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Kilkea Utd booed when Fahan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Binnech Keegan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Kelly was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Binnech Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Bracken Mulvihill had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Kelly. Fahan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bracken Mulvihill was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 31 minutes of play, Kilkea Utd's Bracken Mulvihill made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Kelly was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Bracken Mulvihill notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Fahan's Philip Kelly. Philip Kelly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Binnech Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Beccan McDonald in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kilkea Utd's Binnech Keegan. Brain McWillie hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Bracken Mulvihill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fahan's Philip Kelly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bracken Mulvihill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Bracken Mulvihill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fahan's Philip Kelly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Fahan's goal looked a bit too open when Bracken Mulvihill came free, but Philip Kelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Kelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bracken Mulvihill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kilkea Utd getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bernard McJohn hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph McBrand in the 64th minute of play forced Kilkea Utd's goalkeeper Gearalt McAlphie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Binnech Keegan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilkea Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fahan the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kilkea Utd's Binnech Keegan got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Fahan defense, Binnech Keegan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Kelly. The Fahan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Kelly should have stopped the shot. Binnech Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philip Kelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Binnech Keegan in the 85th minute of play. Philip Kelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bracken Mulvihill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philip Kelly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bracken Mulvihill went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kilkea Utd had played much better football throughout.
