Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kevis McMichel made the kick off which started today's match. When Riley Coyle came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Ballyshane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Riley Coyle couldn't finish the play. Beacan McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Dempsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevis McMichel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riley Coyle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Troy McPhilip made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyteige Utd's zone, Kevis McMichel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Troy McPhilip came out of the goal and Kevis McMichel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beacan McLaughlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Dempsey went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th match minute, Ballyshane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevis McMichel to maneuver through the defense. Troy McPhilip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevis McMichel in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Ballyteige Utd getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Séamus O'Keefe hit a great ball. The Ballyshane players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ballyteige Utd were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Robert Dempsey made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevis McMichel in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Troy McPhilip saved Ballyteige Utd from getting behind. After some careless play in the Ballyteige Utd defense, Riley Coyle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Troy McPhilip. The Ballyteige Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Troy McPhilip should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevis McMichel in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Troy McPhilip prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Kevis McMichel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ballyshane's Riley Coyle got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kevis McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevis McMichel in the 66th minute of play forced Ballyteige Utd's goalkeeper Troy McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballyteige Utd's goalkeeper Troy McPhilip, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Riley Coyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Troy McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bairthmead Ghee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tevin Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Kevis McMichel notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ballyteige Utd's Troy McPhilip. Troy McPhilip was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Ballyteige Utd's Robert Dempsey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beacan McLaughlin. Beacan McLaughlin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Ballyshane's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Robert Dempsey scored to the left of an out of position Beacan McLaughlin, making the score, 2-4. Robert Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Beacan McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kevis McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Ballyteige Utd players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
