Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Beamard Martyn got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Cogran AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Harley McDonald hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Beamard Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beacan McLaughlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ballyshane defense, Beamard Martyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beacan McLaughlin. The Ballyshane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beacan McLaughlin should have stopped the shot. In the 20thth minute of the game Beamard Martyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyshane's Beacan McLaughlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cogran AFC's Beamard Martyn in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ballyshane's goalie prevented a goal. Cogran AFC's Blathmac Bayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevis McMichel in the 34th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Beamard Martyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyshane's Beacan McLaughlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beacan McLaughlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beamard Martyn's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Ros Caffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cogran AFC's Beamard Martyn tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
The wind increased when Kevis McMichel made the kick off in the second half. Beacan McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beamard Martyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cogran AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Barran Callaghan hit a great ball. Beamard Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Beacan McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breasal Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beacan McLaughlin made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bartel McFrancise sent off a good shot on target. After 62 played minutes Ballyshane got a freekick which was hit by Ros Caffey. Beacan McLaughlin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beamard Martyn in the 66th minute. Beacan McLaughlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conor Crowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Blathmac Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandan Sheridan in the 71st minute of the match. Riley Coyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Blathmac Bayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Ros Caffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ballyshane booed when Cogran AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coran Taylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Pearce McBrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beacan McLaughlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Ballyshane got a freekick which was hit by Kevis McMichel. Beacan McLaughlin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beamard Martyn in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beartlai Johnson during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Beartlai Johnson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Ros Caffey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballyshane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cogran AFC the free kick. Cogran AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
