In the 14thth minute of the game Fionntán Murphy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyteige Utd's Troy McPhilip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loskeran's Donavin Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Loskeran from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breaghdha Lester in the 23rd minute of play forced Ballyteige Utd's goalkeeper Troy McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barcvni Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Ballyteige Utd booed when Loskeran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barcvni Cronin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Breaghdha Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Loskeran getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Torrey Duggan hit a great ball. Ballyteige Utd's Rowe McPhil got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fionntán Murphy in the 41st minute of play forced Ballyteige Utd's goalkeeper Troy McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Troy McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breaghdha Lester in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Breaghdha Lester made a kick off. Bairthmead Ghee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavin Barrett having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Loskeran got a freekick which was hit by Barcvni Cronin. Fionntán Murphy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Troy McPhilip made a huge save. 56 minutes into the game, Breaghdha Lester recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Troy McPhilip. Breaghdha Lester showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 66 minutes into the match, Loskeran's Breaghdha Lester sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Troy McPhilip narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donavin Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Dempsey in the 69th minute of play. Fionntán Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Troy McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Troy McPhilip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breaghdha Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Robert Dempsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavin Barrett having to interfere. With a little luck, Ballyteige Utd's Troy McPhilip got control of the ball when Fionntán Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 88 in the game by Fionntán Murphy from a close distance when the talented Troy McPhilip managed to make a qualified save. Ballyteige Utd's players were relieved.
