Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kevis McMichel started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Ballyshane getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ros Caffey hit a great ball. In the 5thth minute of the game Riley Coyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lismore FC's Joseph McLian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kevis McMichel came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ballyshane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevis McMichel couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Taveon McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph McLian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Coyle in the 10th minute of the match. Riley Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes, Kevis McMichel made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lismore FC's Joseph McLian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Doney Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Beacan McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joseph McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevis McMichel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Seoirse Savic fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lismore FC's protests and gave Seoirse Savic a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lismore FC's Seoirse Savic got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 26 played minutes Lismore FC got a freekick which was hit by Pearse McAlphie. Riley Coyle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joseph McLian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Berrigan McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beacan McLaughlin having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Lismore FC got a freekick which was hit by Taveon McJohn. In the 45th minute Doney Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beacan McLaughlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lismore FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ballyshane were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doney Taylor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ballyshane getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Balor Caffey hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the game, Riley Coyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Joseph McLian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th match minute, Lismore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seoirse Savic to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevis McMichel in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph McLian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Riley Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph McLian didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ballyshane's Riley Coyle shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Riley Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballyshane's supporters rose to their feet, but Riley Coyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph McLian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Ballyshane's Joseph McLian threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevis McMichel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Taveon McJohn hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevis McMichel in the 96th minute of play forced Lismore FC's goalkeeper Joseph McLian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ballyshane players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
