Ballyshane
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Riley Coyle took the kick off in the first half of the match. Beacan McLaughlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fionntán Murphy in the 4th minute of play. Riley Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braden Dillon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riley Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavin Barrett having to interfere. Beacan McLaughlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breaghdha Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Riley Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Breaghdha Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, Ballyshane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ros Caffey to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Braden Dillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fionntán Murphy in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beacan McLaughlin saved Ballyshane from getting behind. The Ballyshane fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Ballyshane's Braden Dillon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Beacan McLaughlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breaghdha Lester went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breaghdha Lester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Breaghdha Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beacan McLaughlin having to interfere. Breaghdha Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Beacan McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Ballyshane got a freekick which was hit by Hugh Caffey. Braden Dillon might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donavin Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braden Dillon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Braden Dillon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donavin Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 73 minutes, Riley Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyshane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Riley Coyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyshane's zone, Fionntán Murphy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beacan McLaughlin came out of the goal and Fionntán Murphy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riley Coyle in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donavin Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beacan McLaughlin had great luck who in the 80thth minute grab hold of the ball when Breaghdha Lester from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Braden Dillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Donavin Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ballyshane's Beacan McLaughlin got control of the ball when Fionntán Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donavin Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riley Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Beacan McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breaghdha Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Loskeran's zone, Braden Dillon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donavin Barrett came out of the goal and Braden Dillon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ballyshane were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Loskeran for a fine match.
