Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robert Dempsey kicked off to start the match. Ballyteige Utd's Troy McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beglan Cooney in the 3rd minute of play. Bairthmead Ghee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bairee McAaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Beglan Cooney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyteige Utd's Troy McPhilip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Drumbrollisk's Alex Rogers, in the 20th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Drumbrollisk. The attack was good, but when Alex Rogers in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Rogers in the 27th minute of play forced Ballyteige Utd's goalkeeper Troy McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Alex Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drumbrollisk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Ballyteige Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Beglan Cooney came free, but Troy McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Drumbrollisk's zone, Bairthmead Ghee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bairee McAaron came out of the goal and Bairthmead Ghee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ballyteige Utd's Troy McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beglan Cooney in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Ballyteige Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Beglan Cooney came free, but Troy McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Alex Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyteige Utd's Troy McPhilip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Troy McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beglan Cooney in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Rogers made a kick off. If Beglan Cooney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Troy McPhilip having to interfere. Séamus O'Keefe hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Alex Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Troy McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bairthmead Ghee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beglan Cooney got free with Troy McPhilip in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Ballyteige Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Rogers came free, but Troy McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Beglan Cooney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Alex Rogers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Troy McPhilip, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bairthmead Ghee in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bairee McAaron saved Drumbrollisk from getting behind. Troy McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Rogers in the 84th minute of play. Beary McPhil hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Brenden Hunt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
