Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Doney Taylor started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patton McCollion in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph McLian saved Lismore FC from getting behind. In the 5th match minute, Lismore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taveon McJohn to maneuver through the defense. Joseph McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bragain Caffrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tyrone Murphy came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Laban fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyrone Murphy couldn't finish the play. Seoirse Savic's late challenge caught a Laban's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seoirse Savic helped the player get up and apologised. 11 minutes into the game, Bragain Caffrey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joseph McLian. Bragain Caffrey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Seoirse Savic got his second yellow card in the match during the 14th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. With a little luck, Lismore FC's Joseph McLian got control of the ball when Tyrone Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Laban booed when Lismore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taveon McJohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Coran McSteven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laban's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyrone Murphy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joseph McLian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bragain Caffrey in the 55th minute of the match. Joseph McLian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bragain Caffrey in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Lismore FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Doney Taylor hit a great ball. Tyrone Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lismore FC! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Laban. Coran McSteven stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joseph McLian. 5-0. When Laban's Tyrone Murphy in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lismore FC's goalie prevented a goal. Joseph McLian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coran McSteven in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmet Kirby during the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bragain Caffrey in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph McLian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joseph McLian didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Laban's Tyrone Murphy shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Laban's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
