Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brannon Hutton kicked off to start the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Brannon Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coorlaghan's Donal Tierney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brannon Hutton scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donal Tierney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brannon Hutton got free with Donal Tierney in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Powerstown's Alex Grant got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donal Tierney made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Brannon Hutton sent off a good shot on target. Coorlaghan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Brannon Hutton scored to the left of an out of position Donal Tierney, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of Powerstown booed when Coorlaghan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donn Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Finnigan Sheridan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coorlaghan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Powerstown the free kick. The supporters of Powerstown booed when Coorlaghan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finnigan Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coorlaghan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Brannon Hutton scored to the left of an out of position Donal Tierney, making the score, 3-0. 27 minutes into the game, Brannon Hutton lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Donal Tierney. Beiti Willson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donal Tierney having to interfere. Beiti Willson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donal Tierney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Donal Tierney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannon Hutton in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Coorlaghan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peadair Jameson to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannon Hutton couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Brannon Hutton lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Donal Tierney. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Donn Murphy made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Coorlaghan getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bradon Cooney hit a great ball. Brannon Hutton scored 6-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donal Tierney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Coorlaghan's goal looked a bit too open when Beiti Willson came free, but Donal Tierney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Powerstown's Brannon Hutton got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Powerstown's Brannon Hutton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donal Tierney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Beiti Willson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Powerstown's supporters rose to their feet, but Beiti Willson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donal Tierney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donal Tierney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brannon Hutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Beiti Willson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute of the game Bradon Cooney made a throw-in which Peadair Jameson played forward. Brannon Hutton might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donal Tierney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brannon Hutton ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the game, Powerstown's Beiti Willson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donal Tierney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in Coorlaghan's zone, Brannon Hutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donal Tierney came out of the goal and Brannon Hutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donal Tierney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brannon Hutton in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Brannon Hutton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Donal Tierney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brannon Hutton took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donal Tierney. Donal Tierney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The Powerstown fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Powerstown's Brannon Hutton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 96th minute of the match Mack Scully sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donal Tierney skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that Powerstown were the better team. Powerstown's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
