Baptist McBjarton shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brefni McGlenn made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Briony Silke in the 59th minute of play forced Barraduff's goalkeeper Basil Ferguson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greethill's Bantry Mulvihill got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilbeirt Jameson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bradain McGlenn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Gilbeirt Jameson made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Greethill's goalkeeper Gilbeirt Jameson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blanche McSteven. Gilbeirt Jameson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bradain McGlenn went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Barraduff's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
