Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Blathmacc Barrett made the kick off and thus started the match. Culdaly AFC's Raonall Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brefni McGlenn in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Bradain McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barraduff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradain McGlenn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blathmacc Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Basil Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barraduff's Blanche McSteven got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Peadar McVictor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basil Ferguson having to make a save. Raonall Gough stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brefni McGlenn's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Brefni McGlenn fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barraduff's protests and gave Brefni McGlenn a yellow card for diving instead. Brefni McGlenn kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Blathmacc Barrett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barraduff's Basil Ferguson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Petran McWilliam kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basil Ferguson. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Petran McWilliam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Basil Ferguson made a huge save. The wind increased when Brefni McGlenn made the kick off in the second half. Blathmacc Barrett struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Basil Ferguson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Culdaly AFC. Begg Deans hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Petran McWilliam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Peadar McVictor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basil Ferguson. Barraduff's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peadar McVictor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Culdaly AFC's Fiachra McCollion got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Brefni McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barraduff's supporters rose to their feet, but Brefni McGlenn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raonall Gough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Culdaly AFC's Peadar McVictor got a free kick in the 85th minute. Basil Ferguson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petran McWilliam's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Blanche McSteven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blathmacc Barrett might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basil Ferguson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blathmacc Barrett ran back to his position shaking his head. Basil Ferguson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petran McWilliam went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Culdaly AFC had played much better football throughout.
