Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Casey Lester took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bailey Gillmour might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keefe Tierney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bailey Gillmour ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Pauric Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rineanna's supporters rose to their feet, but Pauric Dalton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lee Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 16 in the game by Pauric Dalton from a close distance when the talented Lee Delaney managed to make a qualified save. Ranns FC's players were relieved. Lee Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casey Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute of the match Rineanna got a corner. Ranns FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bairre Horgan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rineanna's Bairre Horgan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lee Delaney in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pauric Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Delaney having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Rineanna got a freekick which was hit by Casey Lester. Casey Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lee Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ranns FC booed when Rineanna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairre Horgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ranns FC's goalkeeper Lee Delaney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pauric Dalton. Pauric Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Delaney having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ranns FC defense, Hayes Hamilton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lee Delaney. The Ranns FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lee Delaney should have stopped the shot. Lee Delaney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Lester in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Ranns FC got a freekick which was hit by Bradagain Gillmour. In the 42nd minute, Casey Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ranns FC's zone, Casey Lester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lee Delaney came out of the goal and Casey Lester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rowley McAaron made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rineanna's Casey Lester sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lee Delaney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lee Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casey Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Beartlai Doyle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranns FC and the Rineanna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ranns FC! A collision led to Rineanna getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ainnle Horgan hit a great ball. If Pauric Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bailey Gillmour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Keefe Tierney made a huge save. Shea McVictor hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bairre Horgan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bradagain Gillmour kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Casey Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute Pauric Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casey Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Delaney having to interfere. If Pauric Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rineanna booed when Ranns FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradagain Gillmour didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rineanna fully deserved thier win.
