Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donlevy Frankson kicked off to start the match. If Corey McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corey McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, Cahererillan's Rannal Taylor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trevor MaCollin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Donall Gillmour fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cahererillan's protests and gave Donall Gillmour a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cahererillan getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Donall Gillmour hit a great ball. Lewy McMichel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Finbar Holt. Cahererillan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 29th minute when Donegal Hamilton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Belgard Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Corey McLian came free, but Trevor MaCollin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branigan Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Trevor MaCollin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donegal Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor MaCollin having to interfere. The Belgard Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cahererillan were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donegal Hamilton to strike the kick off in the second half. Donlevy Frankson took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Finbar Holt. Finbar Holt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With his leg Trevor MaCollin managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Cahererillan's Corey McLian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Trevor MaCollin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donegal Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 61 in the game by Corey McLian from a close distance when the talented Trevor MaCollin managed to make a qualified save. Belgard Utd's players were relieved. Donegal Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Trevor MaCollin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donlevy Frankson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Donegal Hamilton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Trevor MaCollin. That made the score 1-3 in the 78 minute of play. Trevor MaCollin was a little too slow when Donegal Hamilton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 89th minute Donlevy Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Finbar Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donegal Hamilton in the 90th minute of play forced Belgard Utd's goalkeeper Trevor MaCollin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corey McLian got free with Trevor MaCollin in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corey McLian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trevor MaCollin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donegal Hamilton, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the match was over Cahererillan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belgard Utd throughout the match.
