Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Redford AFC's Dermot Ghee started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Redford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkeley Murphy to maneuver through the defense. If Beatty McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brin Lavine in the 6th minute of play forced Redford AFC's goalkeeper Tory McDonald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tory McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beatty McMichel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Ouley Utd's Beatty McMichel in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redford AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Ouley Utd's goalkeeper Dawayne McBrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berkeley Murphy. 25 minutes into the match, Redford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Caolán Dunne came free, but Tory McDonald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Berkeley Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Beatty McMichel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tory McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Redford AFC defense, Brin Lavine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tory McDonald. The Redford AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tory McDonald should have stopped the shot. Tory McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beatty McMichel in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Redford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finian Murphy to maneuver through the defense. Brin Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tory McDonald having to interfere. In the 45th minute Conaill Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tory McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tory McDonald came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ouley Utd's Beatty McMichel. But to his dismay, Beatty McMichel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Brin Lavine made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Ouley Utd's Tory McDonald threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Beatty McMichel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tory McDonald made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Brin Lavine sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Caolán Dunne took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tory McDonald to make any attempt to save it. Redford AFC's Tory McDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beatty McMichel in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caolán Dunne got free with Tory McDonald in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Ouley Utd's Tory McDonald threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Beatty McMichel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 67th minute, Ouley Utd's Beatty McMichel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tory McDonald. Tory McDonald yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Tory McDonald made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Caolán Dunne sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Beatty McMichel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tory McDonald. Redford AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beatty McMichel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Dawayne McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finian Murphy, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of Ouley Utd booed when Redford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finian Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Tory McDonald successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tory McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beatty McMichel in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Conaill Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tory McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Ouley Utd's Beatty McMichel made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tory McDonald was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Caolán Dunne in the 90th minute of play forced Redford AFC's goalkeeper Tory McDonald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tory McDonald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beatty McMichel in the 91st minute. A collision led to Ouley Utd getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Brannon Costello hit a great ball. Beatty McMichel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Tory McDonald made a huge save. If Finian Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
