The audience was convinced that Toren Coyle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cullan McSteven was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Bohannon Doherty had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barrie Moran. Corray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bohannon Doherty was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 19th match minute, IK Frej was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaden Mulvihill to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Silke in the 26th minute of play forced IK Frej's goalkeeper Cullan McSteven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cullan McSteven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toren Coyle in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, IK Frej's goal looked a bit too open when Toren Coyle came free, but Cullan McSteven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Barrie Moran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Sanches in the 47th minute of play forced Corray's goalkeeper Barrie Moran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bohannon Doherty was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Corray got a freekick which was hit by Peter Savic. Barrie Moran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bohannon Doherty in the 52nd minute of play. In the 61st minute, Bohannon Doherty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Toren Coyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullan McSteven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Sanches scored 3-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barrie Moran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Bercnan Byrne fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corray's protests and gave Bercnan Byrne a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Bercnan Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bohannon Doherty scored 4-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barrie Moran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Corray's Davie Gough slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cullan McSteven. That made the score 4-2 after 75 minutes of play. 79 minutes into the match, Corray's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Sanches came free, but Barrie Moran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derrick Silke charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Derrick Silke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Derrick Silke hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jacinto Sanches might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barrie Moran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Sanches ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 minutes of play, Corray's Toren Coyle made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cullan McSteven was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brendon Silke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cullan McSteven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cullan McSteven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toren Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Corray's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
